A memorial for the 224 people killed on Kogalymavia flight 9268 has been established outside the Russian embassy in Ottawa. Flowers, stuffed animals, candles and written notes have been placed along the fence surrounding the embassy. Flight 9268 crashed in the early hours of Oct. 31 in Sinai after departing from Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. The flight was bound for St. Petersburg, Russian. All 217 passengers and 7 crew members died.
